FAQs

  • With many hospital based systems eliminating outpatient physical therapy and private practices needing to see increased numbers due to poor reimbursement, it can be difficult to get effective PT when you need it. I’ve seen months long waitlists and have heard the complaints of delayed care. Mobile PT gives you the opportunity to get highly effective PT services when you need it and can help more easily accommodate busy schedules.

  • No. Accepted form of payment will be Cash, Credit, FSA or HSA at the time of service. However, a “super bill” will be provided to you to help you claim any out of network health benefits your plan may offer by submitting a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. I recommend speaking with your insurance company before hand so that you are aware of how to do this.

  • No. You do not need a referral for PT services in the State of Washington. However, I do recommend that you talk to your insurance company before hand if you are planning on submitting a claim for reimbursement. You may need a physician referral for this in some cases.

  • All you need to provide is a space for me to set up my mobile treatment table and a space to do some exercises. Since almost all PT exercises are given for home set up, this will actually give me the best ideas for how you can integrate them yourself. I will provide table, mobilization tools, Blood Flow Restriction (if needed), bands and weights. If you have further questions, let’s chat!

  • In almost any circumstance we can create space in your home. However, if you don’t feel comfortable with this we can discuss alternative options.

  • Unfortunately, those with Medicare or Medicaid plans are not allowed to be charged cash for services covered under their plans (This includes Physical Therapy). However, if you are discharged from another provider for something post op and would like to return to sport, you can then pay cash for fitness/exercise treatments.

  • I am an out-of-network provider. However, I will provide a super bill for you if you intend to seek possible reimbursement from your insurance provider.

I will be accepting the following forms of payment: Cash, Credit, FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account).

For those booking appointments one at a time, payment is taken prior to the appointment.

For those who sign up for 10 or 15 session packages, Full payment will be taken in person, and before your first session.

  • Scheduling can be done by clicking any of the “BOOK NOW” buttons throughout this site. It will send you to my scheduling website, where you can see what appointments are available.

I am currently booking in 2 hours slots so that I have enough time to drive to my next client. If the time you want isn’t available (say you want 10:30am, but the slot says 11), book the closest available and contact me to see if we can work around it.

  • How long are my sessions good for?

When booking 10 or 15 session packages, your appointments will be good 365 days from the date you begin. After that, they will expire.

What if I don’t use all my sessions?

There is no refund for package appointments, but you will have 365 days to use them. Additionally, you can transfer to a family member.

Can I transfer a package session to a family member?

Yes. However, the initial appointment for any new client will be booked separately as a New Evaluation. Subsequent sessions can be taken from those available in your package. However, remember that those sessions still expire 365 days from when you originally started, not your family member.
